Journey, I used to play heavily at online some online casinos, sometimes with much success. But I'm talking about sites that only specialize in casino games, not the "smaller" ones the books have. Dell Dude is very knowledgeable in this department, I'm sure he has his favorites. I used to play at The Sands, and my very first week there took $20 up to $4000, but, eventually lost it back. They use what they call a "random generator", but many experiences I've had, I honestly believe there are different settings and can even sometimes be operated manually. I have just seen Wayyyyyyy too many crazy thinks that you would never see at a real Blackjack or craps table.......Although, I have to say the software at sites that specialize only in Casino games are usually MUCH more fair than those located at Sportsbooks.

Journey stay away from them, suckers play there. They are fixed. The bigger the bet, the software has a fix in it to make cards or dice in the casinos favor.Small bets win with more frequency.

Slim, although I rarely do it anymore, Ive won large amounts at online casinos. The only problem is............Vice~Versa~~...
icon_razz.gif
....But I can truly say Ive won much more than Ive lost and I now can almost tell you exactly when, after you've been playing continuously for a while online, when they are about to rake your you know what. Dell Dude is a good example here. He has won tonssss of money, but the greed always takes over with him (no offense Dell!) until its completely gone, many of you know that from reading his posts!

Hache, its just such an easy thing to fix.....heck if some people think some games (NBA, NFL, etc etc) are fixed, imagine how easy it is to fix something like that...

Plus, before I even posted on here I knew a guy that was setting up a book (which is no longer with us, amen) and I knew his casino was rigged

Its very simple to do, thus I just dont trust something that is that easy to fix.

Just my 2 cents.

Slim, I agree buddy, that is why I said I USED to do it. Every now and then I will just "play" around a little bit , but nothing serious like before. Belive me , like I said, I have witnessed some unrealistic things at online casinos and there is no doubt in my mind the software has different difficulty settings and can even be operated manually if they wanted to do so , which has many times led me simply to say, "Random Generator my Azz!"

I won a $1000 hand of BJ at Sands and lost a $1500 hand. I've played over a dozen hands of the max $500 at WSEX. I've played about that many hands of the max $300 at Casino on Net. Ditto with INTERTOPS at $200 per.

In all four cases, I seem to hit the wall at around $2000. That would be suspicious if not for the fact the same holds true for my suicide parlays.

There will come a day I will play at least one $5000 hand at Sands and maybe even a $10,000 hand at 1on1. If I blow into Level Three, that would erase any doubt as to whether *these* casinos at least are rigged. If I bust, we'll just never know for sure.

My gut tells me all these places I mentioned are legit, but I can't prove it until I blow

I've been busy trying to pay off all these losing suicide parlays. The next time I play a max BJ hand and win, I'm flooring it no matter what. No more preening for the camera. This yo-yo bullshit has got to end. I am SO ready to make my move. Just waiting for the next opening...

Hi Journeyman,

My name is Marty Jensen, and I have been operating online casinos since our first casino (www.vegascasinoonline.com) opened in 1999. Currently I operate six online casinos, all using Playtech software. I can tell you with 100% certainty that our casinos (Main Street Group) are completely straight.

However, like any industry there are a few disreputable operators out there, but most of the owners are businessmen and run a "straight" operation. The majority of the reputable online casinos operate on volume, and the overall net win is in the 2.0% - 2.3% range which is very tight, when compared to land based casinos.

When looking for someplace to play, go for an casino that uses well established software such as Playtech, Microgaming, BossMedia, RTG etc. I know that at the well established operations all use a random number generator (RNG), and it is virtually impossible for the operator to manipulate the RNG, for several reasons, first the software provider would be extremely upset as this would violate the terms of the contract, second the operator usually does not have this kind of access, and finally, if I could and did manipulate the RNG somehow, it would have a bias after my manipulation, very quickly a perceptive player with some programming skills could write a small program to take advantage of the bias in my RNG, the results would be disastrous for me. In fact, in our office if any of our techs even attempt to get the near that area they are terminated immediately.

Also, look for a casino that has always made payouts to its "winners" on a timely basis, you can locate some of this information on the different chat boards. Some of the portals listed above are good but some are also owned by online casino owners as well.

I hope this answers some of your questions, come and visit us at www.twinacescasino.com, www.vegascasinoonline.com, or LasvegasUSAcasino.com.

Best,
Marty

First of all, let me start by saying that I have known Marty Jenson for a couple of years now, and he is one of the most respected, intelligent, and honorable men that I have ever hung out with (and I have been with many)...

If you have any suspicions (which I did at first) about the INTEGRITY of online casinos, he is THE MAN to talk to.

The only reason I never brought up his casinos or name before is because we are a much more of a sports betting information site, and not much of a voice in the online casino market.

In fact, we really could use more sophisticated people like Marty to help educate people like me, who enjoy playing at casinos as well.

On a funny side note, in order to demonstrate how different a beast that sports betting and online casinos really are, I don't have to look any further than Mr. Marty Jensen.

Despite warnings from me and a few other sports book operators, Marty decided he wanted to expand his casinos to include sports betting without having any clue about how difficult this might be.

Well, a few hundred thousand dollars later, Marty closed up his sports book, lol...

Why would you even consider playing casino games online..???

There are plenty of casinos around to visit in person.
